SHAWN DOMINY: Hiring a DUI attorney or a criminal defense attorney is a lot like hiring a doctor after a serious accident. Suppose you go to the doctor because although you thought you were handling that shotgun responsibly you shot yourself in the foot. Would you go to the cheapest doctor with a general practice or would you go to a doctor that specializes in foot surgery?
Well, if you're charged with a criminal offense, or a DUI, you could go to an inexpensive attorney that practices several areas of law, or you could hire an attorney that specializes in DUI and criminal defense. Remember that whatever happens in your case is likely to be a permanent record. Nobody wants to hire a defense attorney, but if you have to, you may as well hire a good one.
I'm not the least expensive attorney in central Ohio, but my fees are reasonable. I charge flat fees so you'll know at the beginning the exact cost of my representation. I handle cases in Franklin County, Delaware County and throughout central Ohio.
