Drunk Driving Test Evidence

Field Sobriety Tests & Chemical Testing

SHAWN DOMINY: If you are charged with a DUI in central Ohio, the prosecution is going to focus primarily on two pieces of evidence, the field sobriety tests and the chemical test done to determine the concentration of alcohol in your breath, blood or urine.

SHAWN DOMINY: For field sobriety tests to be valid, they must be administered in a standardized manner that the officers learn in their training. I've been through the same training as the officers and I know how the tests are supposed to be administered.

SHAWN DOMINY: If there's a problem with the field sobriety test, I'll find it, and we'll use this to help improve the outcome of your case. The most common test for alcohol concentration in Ohio DUI cases, is the breathe test. I've been through training in the science of alcohol testing and the operation of the breath testing machines used in Ohio DUI cases.

SHAWN DOMINY: If there is an issue with the breath test, I'll find it and we can use this to help improve the outcome of your case. Sometimes cases that appear very strong for the prosecution at the beginning become weaker as the case progresses.

I can't guarantee any certain outcome in your case, but I can tell you that I know what information to look for and I know what to do with that information when I find it. If you have a DUI charge in Franklin County or Delaware County or other courts throughout central Ohio give me a call (614-717-1177) or send me an email and we'll talk about how I can help.
